Tipi Themes

Whether you are having a party or getting married in the tipis, you may want to choose a theme for your bash, to add a bit of sparkle. Here are some ideas to give you a bit of inspiration...

1. Cowboys and Indians

One of our first children's parties we did was Cowboys and Indians and it was such good craic!

But this is not just for kids! We have access to some fantastic props, via the very talented Blue Moon Girls. For instance love, love, love these bad boys. They would look awesome in the tipis!!

2. Bollywood

We did a brilliant double whammy last September where our client had the tipis for their daughter's 11th Bollywood birthday party and then used it for themselves for a  more grown-up Bollwood party the next night.

A few colourful garlands can transform the tipis...

And for the most magical Indian Wedding, Blue Moon have a wooden antique Sankheda Mandap which they have recently transformed for an Indian wedding in April using contorted willow and ivy to create the most beautiful scene.

3. Enchanted Forest

Why not take inspiration from the Bransons and go down the Fairytale route, as they did when they had a wedding party in the tipis for Sam and Isabelle Branson. Have your guests dress as goblins, fairies, witches and animals and dress the tipis with ivy draped round the poles, lots of fairy lights and the tipis will do the rest!

Below are the most fabulous woodland table dressing ideas (stolen from the BlueMoon Pinterest Board) that would look superb on our wooden tables.

4. Safari Nights

Think tipis in the desert with palm trees, zebra hides and animal print. Guests dressed in safari gear, British Colony, Kristin Scott Thomas in The English Patient, draped entrances and wicker chairs.
